By-Laws Amendment Commission 2016 is activing working to review recommendations from general members. Please take this opportunity to recommend amendments on our existing “NAG By-Laws”. Here are few major amendments that have been discussed in By-Laws committee. We would like to draw your attention for feedbacks in these proposed amendments.
1. Members are required to pay membership dues at least 10 (Ten) days prior to the scheduled NAG Election Date, in order to be eligible to vote in NAG Elections. S/he is required to show a valid Government Issued Identification document (as determined by election commission) to cast vote.
2. A qualified candidate can serve as elected president of NAG for up to (2) two terms (total of four years) only in his/her lifetime.
We would like to assure you that NAG and By-Laws commission will highly appreciate your suggestions/feedback. Please provide your feedbacks by email on or before April 2nd, 2016. Please forward your feedback at: nagbylaw2016@gmail.com.
Furthermore, we would like to encourage you to participate in NAG’s next Annual General Meeting (AGM) which is scheduled for April 16th, 2016. The final amendments on By-Laws will be ratified by the AGM with majority vote. Copy of existing NAG By-Laws is attached for your review.
